The team behind TigerJython has been awarded this year’s STEM Prize of ETH for individuals. The prize is given annually by ETH Rector Sarah Springman, awarding special contributions to STEM education by institions, and individuals. We are, of course, very happy about this recognition of our work, and I would like to thank ETH for their support during the past few years.
Of course, the continued development of TigerJython goes on. On the one hand, we are pushing our supports for robotics, and SoC devices even further. On the other hand, we are also developing a new version of TigerJython that will run entirely inside the browser. Even though the web version will not support the full range of TigerJython, it will make it possible to use TigerJython on devices such as tablets, which do not support Java.
