It is exciting to see how Computer Science is developing into a proper subject in Swiss schools, findings its way into the curricula from primary schools up to advanced high school courses. In order to continue our support for this development, Prof. Juraj Hromkovic from ETH Zurich, and I have combined our years of experience in teaching Computer Science at schools, and written a textbook on introductory Python programming.

In fact, Prof. Hromkovic has already written several additional textbooks to complement the introduction into the broad subject of Computer Science. The series is called “Einfach Informatik”, which roughly translates to “Easy Computer Science” or “Plain and Simple Computer Science”, and comprises three books on the topics “Programming”, “Data: Representation, Encryption and Compression”, and “Strategies and Algorithms”, respectively.

The books are also available on Amazon.
